Research

My central academic purpose is to help others make better decisions, specifically in designing, building, maintaining, and using web technology.  This passion has fueled my research agenda since graduate school.

Three streams of research intertwine in my search for knowledge. The first stream looks at the psychology and ethics of decision making when using e-commerce and social media technologies, the second focuses on project management, and the third stream explores pedagogical best practices for helping students to learn and to use information technology.
